个人简介

丘立教授1961年生于湖南长沙。1981年在湖南大学电气工程系获学士学位。后留学加拿大,分别于1987年和1990年在加拿大多伦多大学电气工程系获得硕士和博士学位。其后短期工作于加拿大太空署,滑铁卢大学,菲尔兹数学科学研究所, 明尼苏达大学数学及其应用研究所。1993年至2024年在香港科技大学工作,为电子及计算机工程系教授。2023年曾于南方科技大学任讲席教授。现为香港中文大学(深圳)校长讲座教授。丘立教授曾担任国际著名期刊IEEE Transactions on Automatic ControlAutomatica的编委,第七届亚洲控制会议大会主席,IEEE控制系统协会杰出讲座团成员,IEEE控制系统协会理事会成员。丘立教授因为对周期多采样率系统的最优及鲁棒控制所作出的贡献,于2006年当选为电气与电子工程师学会会士,并因为对鲁棒控制及反馈系统性能极限问题所作出的杰出开创性贡献,于2010年当选为国际自动控制联盟会士。丘立教授于2024年成为亚洲控制学会的首批会士。丘立教授曾任亚洲控制学会副主席,现任香港自动控制学会首任主席。
