周少华教授在中国科学院计算技术研究所担任研究员、博士生导师；他是国际电气电子工程学会会士、美国医学与生物工程院会士。他的研究领域包括医学影像、计算机视觉、人工智能。他拥有140多项授权专利，曾获2014年度西门子年度发明家称号、科技奥斯卡奖、爱迪生专利奖、马里兰大学ECE杰出校友等多项荣誉。截至目前，他已出版3本研究专著、编辑3本专著、发表200多篇期刊文章、专著章节和会议文章。他是行业顶级协会MICCAI Society财长和理事会成员，国际医学影像两大期刊 IEEE Trans. Medical Imaging, Medical Image Analysis编委会成员，医学影像开源项目 MONAI (Medical Open Network for AI)咨询委员会成员。
