游宇宁博士是香港中文大学（深圳）理工学院的助理教授。游博士于美国德州农工大学获得博士学位（2019-2024），于西安交通大学获得工学学士学位（2015-2019），并在加州理工学院进行博士后研究（2024-2025）。在2025年，游博士获得德州农工大学校友会颁发的研究生毕业生科研卓越奖。 游博士的研究专注于开发用于结构化数据模式分析的机器学习算法，包括图、点云和场数据——具体而言，他开发了一类被称为图自监督学习的算法，用于小分子、蛋白质接触图和单细胞的大规模图数据挖掘。通过利用这些算法，他致力于构建针对不同尺度生物组织的仿真器，包括分子、细胞、组织、有机体和临床应用——他最近构建了一个名为“虚拟组织”的仿真器，用于建模基因、细胞和微环境之间的复杂相互作用。这些仿真器作为有效的计算工具，在生命科学研究的广泛应用中发挥作用，例如药物发现。
