王朝谚Tiow-Gan Ong,无机化学家,以其通过“配体设计策略”进行的non-octet体化学键研究而闻名。曾任中国台湾“中央研究院”化学研究所研究员。于2025年9月加入香港中文大学(深圳)理工学院,成立“先进碳配体与金属主族催化实验室”。
王朝谚在国际上有机金属化学和催化领域享有盛誉,主要工作致力于通过配体设计策略探索化学键的本质与应用,为有机金属化学和催化科学的发展提供了重要启示,其成果在学术界和工业界均具有深远影响。近年作为通讯作者在Nature Chem.、Nat. Synth.、JACS、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.等顶尖期刊上发表多篇论文,其研究成果推动了相关领域的发展。此外,他曾获得多项殊荣,包括渥太华大学访问研究奖(2020年)、台湾杰出研究奖(2019年)、中国台湾“中央研究院”杰出学者计划奖(2021年和2024年)及国家级人才项目(2024年)。
王教授作为项目负责人,与其团队围绕“碳配体设计与化学键调控”科学问题展开系统研究,涉及无机化学、有机金属化学、催化化学等多学科交叉领域。研究内容聚焦以下方向:
(a) 选择性C–H/C–O键活化:开发出镍催化剂,能够选择性地活化C–H和C–O键,并将其应用于多种有机化合物的新合成方法开发;
(b) 新型Carbon(0)科学:发现了一类新的carbon(0)物种——碳烯和碳二烯(carbodicarbene),开创了FLP(非典型刘易斯对)、无金属催化、串联一电子和二电子反应以及自由基导向反应的新研究范式;
(c) 不稳定二碳(C2)的分离:成功分离出不稳定的二碳(C2),相关成果发表于Nature Chem.,这一突破极大地深化了科学界对碳化学的理解。
