个人简介

唐本忠教授于1982年和1988年分别在华南理工大学和日本京都大学取得学士学位和博士学位,于1989-1994年在加拿大多伦多大学进行了博士后研究并于Neos公司任高级研究员。1994年加入香港科技大学从事学术研究工作,2008年晋升为讲席教授。2021年,唐教授加入香港中文大学(深圳)任理工学院院长。

唐教授是中国科学院院士、发展中国家科学院院士、亚太材料科学院院士、国际生物材料科学与工程学会联合会会士、英国皇家化学会会士。

唐教授已发表科学论文1600余篇,他引十一万余次,h指数152。自2014年至今,唐教授连续入选化学和材料科学双领域高被引用科学家。唐教授获得多项荣誉及奖励,如国家自然科学一等奖(2017),何梁何利科学与技术进步奖(2017),裘槎高级研究成就奖(2007)等。唐教授现任Wiley出版社发行的Aggregate杂志的主编。
