个人简介

靳羽华教授分别于2010年、2013年和2017年在北京工业大学获得应用物理学学士、光学工程硕士和光学工程博士学位。随后,在2018年至2020年期间,他作为博士后研究员在麻省理工学院计算机科学与人工智能实验室(MIT CSAIL)的人机交互工程组工作两年。在加入香港中文大学(深圳)理工学院担任助理教授之前,他还曾在加拿大西蒙菲莎大学(Simon Fraser University)计算机科学学院担任访问学者,并在意大利的Tinted Technology公司担任首席技术官。

靳羽华教授是人机交互(HCI)与光学工程交叉领域的创新研究者。他的工作方向结合了多学科交叉,主要围绕先进的个人制造技术和可视化技术展开,这其中包括了如何结合先进光学科技以及计算软件、硬件科技,进行多元化、创新化的应用技术研究,旨在拉近高端科技与我们的日常生活之间的应用距离。靳博士在麻省理工学院任职期间,研发了一种名为Photo-Chromeleon的颠覆性变色技术。这种“可重复编程”的染料使用户能够通过投射特殊光线来数字化地改变其物理颜色,有望改变传统观念当中即颜色是物体制造后就是固定的传统观念,在人们未来日常生活、制造业、科学、艺术等诸多领域的产生创新意义重大的影响。靳博士凭借该工作的研究成果荣获了2019年ACM UIST最佳论文奖和最佳报告奖,并在2020年SIGGRAPH获得了DCEXPO未来科技特别奖。目前为止,他的工作受到了世界范围内的广泛关注,被BBC News、MIT News、Fast Company、Business Insider等数百家知名媒体争相报道。
