Assistant Professor
Ph.D. (University of California, San Diego)
B.S. (Zhejiang University)
Prof. Jingqiang Ye received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in physics from Zhejiang University in 2014 and Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of California, San Diego in 2020. He carried out postdoctoral research at Columbia University before joining CUHK-Shenzhen as a tenure-track assistant professor in 2024.
Prof. Ye is an experimental particle physicist. His main research interests include the direct detection of dark matter, neutrinos, and axions using noble liquid detectors and the development of technologies for next-generation detectors. His group is involved with the XENONnT dark matter experiment and RELICS reactor neutrino experiment, and he served as Analysis Coordinator for the XENONnT experiment from 2022 to 2023.
