Prof. Shaohua ZHOU is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is an IEEE Fellow and AMIBE Fellow. His research field includes medical imaging, computer vision and artificial intelligence. He possess more than 140 granted patents and has won Siemens Inventor of the Year, R&D 100 Award (Oscar of Invention), Thomas Edison Patent Award, University of Maryland ECE Distinguished Alumni Award, etc. Up to now, he has published 3 research monographs, edited 3 monographs, and published more than 200 journal articles, monograph chapters and conference articles. He serves a treasurer and a member of the board of directors of the MICCAI Society. a member of the editorial board of IEEE Trans.
