Dr. Qi QIAN is currently an assistant professor and Ph.D. advisor in the School of Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. Before that she did her postdoctoral research at UCLA with Prof. Xiangfeng Duan and received her Ph.D. degree from Purdue University with Prof. Michael Manfra. Her research interest focuses on quantum transport in novel quantum materials and devices. She has published more than 10 papers as the first and corresponding author, including Nature (2), Nature Nanotechnology (2), and Nature Communications. She was recognized as a member of Innovators under 35 Asia Pacific by MIT technology review and received MRS Postdoctoral Award, the nomination of Chancellor’s Award for Postdoctoral Research at UCLA and the Lark-Horovitz Prize in Physics.
