Biography

Yuan Luo is an assistant professor of School of Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. Before joining CUHK(SZ), Dr Luo was a research fellow at in the Department of Computing at Imperial College, advised by Prof. Nick Jennings. She received her Ph.D. in the Department of Information Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), advised by Prof. Jianwei Huang. She was a visiting scholar in the EECS department at University of California at Berkeley (UC Berkeley), advised by Prof. Jean Walrand. Her research lies in the field of artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems, focusing on integrating machine learning with game theory. Dr Luo received IEEE WiOpt Best Paper Award, Hong Kong PhD Fellowship, CUHK Young Scholar Thesis Award, and CUHK Postgraduate Research Output Award. She is an Area Editor for Springer Encyclopedia of Wireless Networks-area on Network Economics and Pricing. She serves in the technical program committees (TPC) of leading conferences including IJCAI, AAMAS, INFOCOM, GLOBECOM, and ICC.
