About the Forum
The Long Feng Science Forum is a registered brand of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. The Forum consists of Main Forum, Workshop Series, and Seminar Series. The School of Science and Engineering has hosted seven main forums, which have attracted a large number of top scientists, outstanding young scholars and industry leaders in various fields and received overwhelming responses.
The "2025 Global Young Scholars’ Forum" will be held online, from August 22 to 23, 2025. The forum will invite young talents and rising stars with high potential in various disciplines at home and abroad to share their research results and experiences through academic reports, discuss the hot spots of the disciplines together, and generate diversified viewpoints to collide. The forum is a crucial part of our faculty recruitment process.
We are delighted to announce and invite outstanding young academic talents worldwide to apply for the forum and look forward to your participation!
Application Requirements
1.Have obtained (or will obtain within one year) a Ph.D. degree from a reputable university at home or abroad.
2.Have made significant achievements in the research fields of one of the three sub-forums:
Electrical and Computer Engineering Sub-Forum
Robotics and Embodied AI, Networks and Communication System, Intelligent Energy Engineering, Devices and Microelectronics.
Mathematics Sub-Forum
Partial Differential Equations, Computational and Applied Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Topology, Financial Engineering and related interdisciplinary subjects.
Physical Sciences Sub-Forum
AI for Science; Optoelectronic Materials, Biomaterials, Meta Materials, Information Materials, Computational Materials; Synthetic Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Polymer Science, Analytical Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering; High-Energy Experimental Physics, Quantum Physics, Optics, Condensed-Matter Physics, Magnetism, Semiconductor Physics, Astrophysics & Cosmology; Battery Energy Storage System, Catalysis, Photovoltaics, Hydrogen Energy, Nuclear Energy.

This forum will be held online, with the following specific arrangements.

Forum will be held from August 22 to August 23, 2025, via Zoom

About School of Science and Engineering
Founded in 2015, the School of Science and Engineering (SSE) adheres to the rich academic tradition of CUHK, placing a high emphasis on the integration of humanity elements. Driven by a noble mission, SSE is committed to nurturing innovative technology leaders embracing China and the world with global visions and social responsibility.
