2025年10月17日-19日,由香港中文大学(深圳)理工学院主办的翔龙鸣凤科学论坛之传感前沿研讨会·第五届亚洲化学传感与成像探针学术会议圆满落幕。本次大会邀请了来自亚洲多所顶尖高校与科研机构的科学家、青年学者和研究生等共约160人参会。会议设置了大会报告、主旨报告、邀请报告、口头报告及海报展示等多个环节,系统探讨了化学传感器与成像探针在材料结构与机理、检测与成像、疾病诊断与治疗以及在多交叉学科领域的前沿成果与未来展望。会议的成功举办进一步促进了亚洲化学传感与生物成像领域的学术交流与国际合作。
From October 17 to 19, 2025, the 5th Asian Conference on Chemosensors and Imaging Probes (Asian-ChIP 2025) Long Feng Science Forum was successfully organized by the School of Science and Engineering (SSE), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen). Around 160 leading scientists, young scholars, and graduate students have participated in Asian-ChIP 2025 from top universities and research institutes across Asia. The program included plenary lectures, keynote lectures, invited lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions, providing a comprehensive platform to explore the latest advances and future perspectives in chemical sensors and imaging probes, covering topics such as materials design and mechanisms, detection and imaging, disease diagnosis and therapy, and interdisciplinary innovations. The successful organization of this conference further strengthened academic exchange and international collaboration in the field of chemical sensing and bioimaging across Asia.

唐本忠院士致开幕辞|Opening Remarks by Prof. Ben Zhong Tang
10月18日上午会议伊始,理工学院院长、大会主席唐本忠院士代表主办方致开幕辞。他首先向各位嘉宾、同事与朋友们致以热烈的欢迎,并诚挚感谢来自亚洲各地的学者和专家齐聚香港中文大学(深圳),共同出席第五届亚洲化学传感与成像探针会议的开幕式。唐院士回顾了Asian-ChIP自2015年在首尔创办以来,逐步成为引领亚洲科学研究与国际合作重要学术平台的发展历程。他指出,本次大会在充满创新活力的深圳举办,必将开启新的篇章。他鼓励与会者在接下来的会议中自由交流、深入探讨,从基础研究出发,共同探索科研成果如何转化,并对社会与产业产生实际影响。
At the opening ceremony on Oct 18th, Prof. Ben Zhong Tang, the Dean of SSE and Conference Chair, delivered the opening remarks. He extended a warm welcome to all guests, colleagues, and friends, and expressed sincere gratitude to scholars and experts from Asian area for gathering at CUHK-Shenzhen to attend the opening ceremony of Asian-ChIP 2025. Dean Tang reviewed the history of Asian-ChIP since its inception in Seoul in 2015 and now this serial conference has grown into an influential academic platform that fosters scientific research and international collaboration across Asia. He highlighted that hosting this year’s conference in Shenzhen, a city renowned for its innovation and vitality, marks the beginning of a new chapter. He encouraged participants to engage in open communication and in-depth discussions throughout the conference—starting from fundamental research and exploring how scientific discoveries can ultimately translate into real-world social and industrial impact.

新加坡南洋理工大学浦侃裔教授|Professor Kanyi Pu from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore)
开幕式后,陕西师范大学房喻院士、日本名古屋大学Shigehiro Yamaguchi教授、新加坡南洋理工大学浦侃裔教授应邀作大会报告。房院士从分子材料在传感技术中的应用出发,介绍了团队在分子传感与光学功能材料领域的研究进展,总结了当前小分子荧光探针研究的主要挑战,包括光化学稳定性、信号利用效率及检测选择性等问题,并提出通过分子结构创新和激发态调控来提升整体性能的思路。Yamaguchi教授则围绕近红外荧光分子的分子设计与应用展开报告,介绍了其课题组近年来在新型π共轭体系的构筑及荧光性能调控方面的重要研究成果。浦教授围绕新一代光学成像技术在早期疾病诊断与精准治疗中的研究进展展开介绍,系统展示了课题组近年来在分子探针设计及多模态成像方向的重要成果。这些工作为光学成像在疾病早筛、诊疗一体化及精准医学中的应用提供了新的思路与方向。
After the opening ceremony, Professor Yu Fang from Shaanxi Normal University, Professor Shigehiro Yamaguchi from Nagoya University (Japan), and Professor Kanyi Pu from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) were invited to deliver plenary lectures at the conference. Prof. Fang presented the recent advances in molecular sensing and optical functional materials, focusing on the application of molecular materials in sensing technologies. Prof. Yamaguchi’s lecture centered on the molecular design and applications of near-infrared fluorescent molecules, highlighting his group’s recent achievements in constructing novel π-conjugated systems and tuning their fluorescent properties. Prof. Pu introduced the group’s progress in next-generation optical imaging technologies for early disease diagnosis and precision therapy, presenting significant results in molecular probe design and multimodal imaging.

In the subsequent parallel sessions, the participants from China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, India, and other countries/areas took the stage one after another to share their representative research achievements in the fields of chemical sensing and bioimaging. The presentations covered a wide range of topics, from molecular design, materials synthesis, and photophysical mechanism analysis to biomedical applications, fully showcasing the latest scientific advances and innovative ideas in this area.

During the coffee break and poster sessions, attendees actively exchanged ideas on the latest advances in chemical sensing and bioimaging achieved by different research groups. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere not only stimulated intellectual exchange and potential collaborations, but also further strengthened academic connections and friendships among researchers from various countries and regions.

10月19日下午,韩国梨花女子大学的Juyoung Yoon教授和韩国高丽大学的Jong Seung Kim教授,分别做了题为“荧光成像探针与光疗”和“生物正交激活的光还原氧化催化”的大会报告,展示了最前沿的研究成果与具有指导意义的未来研究展望。闭幕式上,组委会颁发了最佳优秀墙报奖,褒奖展示了优秀研究成果的学生。
In the afternoon of Oct 19th, Professor Juyoung Yoon from Ewha Womans University and Professor Jong Seung Kim from Korea University delivered Plenary Lectures entitled “Recent Advances in Fluorescent Imaging Probes and Phototherapy” and “Bioorthogonal Activation of Photoredox Catalysis”, respectively. Both presentations showcased cutting-edge research achievements and offered insightful perspectives on future directions in the field. At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee presented the Best Poster Awards to recognize outstanding student researchers who demonstrated excellent scientific work during the conference.

After three days of engaging academic exchange, Asian-ChIP 2025 concluded successfully in a warm and dynamic atmosphere. Throughout the conference showcased the creativity and influence of Asian scientists in the fields of chemical sensing and bioimaging. Through in-depth academic discussions, enthusiastic idea exchanges, and friendly cross-border collaboration, participants not only broadened their scientific horizons but also laid a solid foundation for future international cooperation and innovative development. As noted by Professor Ben Zhong Tang in his opening remarks: “Chemical sensing and bioimaging serve as a vital bridge connecting chemistry and the life sciences.” The successful organization of this conference not only reflected the vitality and momentum of this rapidly developing field, but also underscored CUHK-Shenzhen’s commitment to advancing scientific innovation and interdisciplinary research on a global scale.
Let us join hands and continue to advance the integration and development of science across Asia, illuminating the boundless possibilities of future research at the intersection of chemistry and life.
