个人简介:


   张寅教授于1977年获得重庆大学环境工程专业学士学位,1987年获得美国纽约州立大学石溪分校应用数学博士学位。张教授于1982年至1987年在美国纽约州立大学石溪分校、康奈尔大学分别担任助教和助理研究员等职位。1987年7月至1990年7月,张教授在美国Rice大学从事博士后研究、任副研究员、讲师。1990年8月至1996年6月,任美国马里兰州大学巴尔的摩分校助理教授、副教授。他先后于1991年至1992年、2002年任美国Rice大学平行计算研究中心和加拿大多伦多大学数学科学领域研究所访问学者。1996年至今,任美国Rice大学计算与应用数学系副教授、教授。
   张寅教授迄今在国际核心期刊上发表文章逾85篇,他的研究方向包括L1相关的优化算法、压缩感知理论与算法、数学规划的计算与应用、优化在医学和数据科学中的应用等。张教授曾先后多次主持美国国家科学基金、美国能源部等重大科研项目。他于2001年获得INFORMS Computing Society (ICS)杰出研究奖INFORMS Computing Society ICS 2001 Prize for Research Excellence in the Interface Between Operations Research and Computer Science,同时他也是2003年度莱斯大学校长奖(Presidential Award for Mentoring)的首位获得者。张教授担任过多个国际期刊的编委,包括Mathematical Programming Computation、SIAM Journal on Optimization, Journal of Computational Mathematics、Journal of Optimization: Theory and Applications等。张教授还参与组织多个国际学术会议,并受邀在各类国际学术会议、研讨会上发表特邀报告。
