个人简介:


    梁美儿教授先后毕业于哈佛大学拉德克利夫学院、英国牛津大学和麻省理工大学,并获得了应用数学理学士学位,数学文学士学位和运筹学哲学博士学位。梁教授在回香港之前,分别在美国耶鲁大学和亚利桑那大学担任教职人员。

    梁教授的研究领域主要包括组合优化和物流学。她对公共运输调度、供应商选择、物料运输、路由和分配计划、设施布局、生产调度和时间表制定的相关问题也深有研究。梁教授在多所周刊发表过文章,其中包括Mathematical Programming、Management Science、Operations Research、IIE Transactions、Discrete Optimization、Journal of Combinatorial Optimization、INFOR、IEEE Transactions on Robotics and Automation、OR Letters、Discrete Applied Mathematics等等。她的研究更得到了香港研究资助局和美国国家科学基金会的肯定。

    梁美儿教授在欧洲日报的物流运输(2011)、运输科学(2009)、工业工程师协会汇刊(2001)、计算机与运筹学研究(2005) 和海军物流研究(2001)担任编辑委员。梁教授是运筹学和管理学研究协会的资深会员,曾于2002年担任管理科学或运筹学女性论坛的董事长,2000至2004年期间担任学生事务委员会的主席。在2011年墨尔本举办的19届IFORS会议中,梁教授担任了科学项目主席一职。

    此外,梁教授也与多家香港公司合作,协助完成集装箱管理、仓库库存系统、大规模运输时间制定和人力规划的项目。2014年,梁美儿教授被选为香港物流及运输协会院士,同时被任命为香港物流发展局成员。
