    Prof. Jay Lee是韩国先进科技学院化学和生物分子工程专业的一名教授。Prof. Lee主要的研究方向包括能源处理系统工程、碳的捕获、利用、和封存、和生物燃料及炼制。

    Prof. Jay Lee先后毕业于华盛顿大学(1986)和美国加州理工学院(1991)的化学工程专业,并分别获得理学学士以及博士学位。他于1991年至1998年在美国奥本大学担任助理教授和副教授的工作。Prof. Lee于1998年至2000年先后就职于美国普渡大学和美国佐治亚理工学院的化学工程学院。在2010年,Prof. Lee加入了韩国先进科技学院,并担任化学和生物分子工程学部部长。他更是Saudi Aramco-KAIST二氧化碳管理中心的创会理事。Prof. Lee分别于1994年和1997年在E. I. Du Pont de Numours和韩国首尔国立大学举办了参观访问。

    Prof. Lee曾于1993年获得了国家科学基金会年轻调查员奖,于2013年以主题“outstanding contributions in developing novel paradigm that efficiently couple off-line operation data with on-line data for robust model predictive control in industrial processes”获得了AIChE CAST Computing的化学工程奖。Prof. Lee是IEEE、 IFAC和AIChE的高级会员。他也是韩国科学技术学院和韩国国家工程院的成员。Prof. Lee在SCI期刊共发表160多篇稿件,引用已超过8500次。他曾在世界各地开展过不同主题的演讲。
